Stroll Anthology

Each year the Stroll publishes an anthology of poems submitted by its members. The Stroll of Poets Anthology is a diverse record of the poets who have performed throughout the Stroll’s history.

Submit Your Poem

To be published in the Stroll of Poets’ Anthology 2017 you must:

  • be a paid member of the Stroll of Poets Society
  • perform in a scheduled Poets’ Haven reading at either the Upper Crust or Audreys Books, between September 2016 and March 2017.

General information, including acknowledgement of submissions

Every poet who performs as a scheduled Poets’ Haven reader at either the Upper Crust or Audreys Books between September 2016 and March 2017 is invited to submit one 30-line poem (see guidelines below) and a short bio (65 words maximum) for inclusion in the Stroll of Poets Anthology. Each poem and bio is allowed one page in the anthology.

Please read these guidelines very carefully and make sure your submission fits the criteria. Poems and/or bios that do not meet the criteria outlined below may need to be cut, narrowed, shortened or have lines broken. This may result in amendments to your bio or unintended changes to the meaning of your poem.

We will acknowledge receipt of all online and hard copy submissions and of all cover art submissions within two weeks (10 business days). If, within that time, you have not received confirmation that your submission has been received, please contact Ellen Kartz at 780.422.8216 or via her contact form.
