I do my writing late at night
When all is silent, still and quiet
When dreams feel real, surreal, so right
And hearts feel free and feathery light

Joy Lardner was born in Guyana, South America. She began writing poetry around the age of ten, and in 2003, published her first book of poetry entitled, Quietly Knowing, Warmth for the Soul. Joy’s book is available at Audrey’s bookstore in Edmonton.

An inspiring speaker and storyteller, Joy also delivers keynotes and workshops on raising personal potential and increasing confidence in communication through her company, Kaieteur Concepts. Joy’s passions include speaking, writing, reading and travel.
