FAIRY LIGHTS

dancing fairies

sprinkled

fairy dust

across the blackened sky

in waves of white

with tides of green and pink

they pushed and pulled

one way

then another

like curtains

opening and closing

to a world

most often forgotten

except by those

fortunate few

with love in their eyes

and fairy dust

in their hair
